An Interesting Dish of Mushrooms

A cookbook that I've rarely used... if ever.
A recipe chosen for the theme "Exotic Seaports." Here: Nice, France. I was requested to bring
a vegetable dish to the Culinary Historians' dinner. This one is vegan (I omitted butter), and looked appealing.
This image shows the last step when the mushrooms, bread crumbs, etc. are all combined.

My changes: I cooked the garlic briefly at the end of each batch of mushrooms.
I added a bit of herbs de Provençe and the lemon zest, as well as the juice of the lemon.
I sautéed the mushrooms in batches to keep them firmer.

Champignons Provençale made for the CHAA' dinner.
Good intention of the week: try more recipes from this cookbook.

I could eat an entire frying pan of these!

I adore mushrooms! And they don't look terribly difficult and the presentation is terrific!

I love love mushrooms! Yours look delicious. I make a mushroom casserole with mustard, yum! Reminds me of when mom and dad would forage for mushrooms in woods and our yard, driving neighbors crazy. They were sure we'd die of food poisoning.

Mushrooms are a favorite of mine, I always add extra from what the recipe calls for. I'll bet this was the hit of your dinner club.

I love mushrooms, but especially sauteed in butter! Yours do look scrumptious though.

The mushrooms looks yummy.

You wrote that you had problems with the Mr.Linky on my Tummy Tuesdays. I'm not sure what happened as I'm not super techy. Usually when that happens to me, it's because I forgot to click the box. I'm sorry about that. Anyways, any time you want to put a food post on TummyTuesday and the linkup doesn't work, just put your link in the comments and I'll add it manually for you.

I really appreciate you coming over and visiting my blog and sorry that the link up didn't work.
