Five Authors and a Historic Theater

Ann Arbor’s most famous mural: five authors, painted 1984. New on the same building: views of the town.

The new mural with two scooters in front of it.
The State Theater, depicted in the mural, is down the street.

Detail from the new mural.

And I even know where it is! You know, I've been in dozens of classic theatres in all sorts of places over time, but never the State. Hmmm.

I am a big fan of mural art. What a lovely mural. I am wondering what prompted the five authors mural. I think I need to take a look at your post about it.

What amazing murals. I think I appreciate the one showing your city even better than the five people. That one is incredible. Great, great mural art, Mae.

Je me souviens très bien du mural avec les cinq auteurs, et ce rajout avec ce trompe l'œil et toutes ces images à l'intérieur de l'image est très beau très astucieux et joyeusement coloré
