Leonardo and Mona Lisa at the Table. |
If you often read this blog, you know that I love to explore what famous people ate. Most recently, I read two food-centered biographies of Abraham Lincoln and Benjamin Franklin, but I've had many more encounters with famous people and their food. If you have been following me forever, you know that one of my first such blog posts was:
Mona Lisa: By Request
Well, here is a book that follows up 13 famous men and 3 famous women, checking out what they ate. It looks like a children's book -- but really it was written just for me (and maybe you).
For a fantastic review, check this blog post by Jama:

Thanks for the link love, Mae. Glad you got the book!
After reading Jama's post last week, I bought the book for my 10 year old snd 6 year old grandkids for Valentine's Day. They loved it=
It does look like a cute and informative book.
That sounds terribly fun! Thank you!
I’m always on the lookout for wonderful children’s picture books.

These books sound great. I love the illustrations.
This looks like such a great book and that pandowdy sounds pretty delicious too. ;-)
This looks awfully cute! And in a few years, I'll have someone old enough to share it with. Oh wait, maybe I could just enjoy it myself!
