Trying a Recipe: Ottolenghi’s Miso-Butter Onions

Hot from the oven: a vegetarian dish for dinner on a chilly, rainy April day.

Served with green peas, and a few potatoes.
Recipe from Ottolenghi’s Flavor. Also online here.

Is that all you had for dinner? I have just bought some miso for a recipe so now I can try a few more dishes with it.

This sounds and looks absolutely wonderful and I am bookmarking the recipe; thank you!! It reminded me of one of our latest recipe discoveries - sweet potatoes with tahini butter. (Sami Nostrem on the NYT food website). And yes, really I do know that miso and tahini are different things entirely, but both are fairly new discoveries in our culinary "repertoire."

I’m trying more vegetarian recipes lately but have never tried an Ottolenghi recipe.

I try to eat more vegetables including vegetarian dinners when on my own. I wished I liked Miso....
