Now, that's a pie! Did I ever tell you about my friend who used to host a pi day party -- everyone had to bring a pie -- sweet or savory (including quiches, pot pies, tarts). Quite the buffet!
I must admit that I never had an upside down pineapple cake. Yours looks fabulous. When my daughter still went to school the children could bring "pie" (i.e. muffins etc) to school on Pi day. No wonder it was a very popular day in class.
