A Place for Birds to Eat and Drink

Nearby our hotel in Portal, Arizona, we visited a backyard that’s dedicated to feeding wildlife.
Sitting there is relaxing in a most amazing way. Below are photos of the birds and squirrels we saw.

Our birding trip is going fast, and we’ve seen many more birds now, including more owls (by day and by night). The mountain scenery is amazing as well. Here are a couple of mountain scenes:

That yellow bird is beautiful.
I have two bird feeders, and both are completely dominated by mockingbirds now. They chase away everyone else.

What an amazing trip this must have been for you. That home is definitely well set up for wildlife and birds in particular.

Beautiful views you have. I surely love looking at birds. Here in southern Georgia I have seen jays, red winged blackbirds, red headed woodpeckers, sappsuckers, bluebirds and some black crested bird I don't know. I never tire of seeing them.

Your Squirrels sure look different to "my Peanut". But also so cute. As the birds!

American goldfinch, I think, possibly one of the ones who wintered here with me, now in his stunning yellow breeding plumage.
