|A sora rail at the Sweetwater Wetlands, Tucson. Rails are very secretive birds as they live in the reeds.
We enjoyed another long day watching birds, scenery, and other wildlife while driving towards the eastern part of the state. We are now in Portal, Arizona, in the Chiricahua Mountains near Cave Creek Canyon. I’ve picked out photos of animals as well as the birds we saw today.
