We were gifted with one pretty day in a long month of April showers, and took a walk downtown, where I noticed a few interesting murals and this painted utility box. |
Inside the shop Bongz and Thongz: hand-blown water pipes and a mural depicting a few cultural icons. Bongz and Thongz has been in business since 2011. |
More art work inside Bongz and Thongz |
This is the door of Bongz and Thongz. I didn’t need any water pipes, but went in to see the art work. |

Great collection of street art. My favorites are the first two and the last flower box. Have a great weekend.
What fun discoveries -- I love that flower box at the end! So glad you were able to get out for a walk in town.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful street art! It's so colorful and uplifting.
Great street art in your town. It lights up the streets – the flower box is lovely. I wish more cities had street art like this.
Great pictures of the street art. I love the last planter. It is gorgeous.
A2 does it well!
These are really fun!
Beautiful blog
Fun pictures. It takes nerve to go in a place called Bongz and Thongz!
Love them all, but certainly esp The Simpsons!
Love the gorgeous flower planter and the first mural with such beautiful colours.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Mae.
What a fun set of murals. Was that Cheech and Chong on the right in that mural above the bongs? Even the sale of paraphernalia is forbidden in Wichita. I enjoyed all the murals and the last one, the planter box, may be my favorite.
