The Zoo Safari Park was formerly called the Wild Animal Park, and opened originally in 1972. It’s in Escondito, outside San Diego. The zoo itself, is in Balboa park and is over 100 years old.
I liked visiting both the Safari park and the zoo many years ago. It is a class act place. Thanks for sharing these. Maybe I need a trip back to San Diego again sometime. hugs-Erika
