I'm always amazed at what some artists can find ways to leave their mark on the world. These bridges speak to that. These were both interesting bridges, Mae.
@Erica: The Huron River in our part of Michigan runs into Lake Erie. Both bodies of water are named for the Huron tribe that originated along the Great Lakes.
It's often street art that catches my attention over works that are featured prominently in choice locations. There's a jolt of energy for me in street art.
Some looks like art, some just like graffiti. I couldn't actually *define*( the difference but I suppose I feel like Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart who described his threshold test for obscenity by saying "I know it when I see it." In any event, great pictures, as always!
@rhapsody -- my definition of graffiti vs. art is not based on the content or skill of the work, but on having permission to paint. Graffiti (like on a RR bridge) is made without the permission of the owner of the wall/space. Murals and artwork IMO are created with the owner's permission (and often with a subsidy). Maybe your definition would be different.

I image this river runs into or out of Lake Huron. Nice walking bridge.
