The definition doesn't matter: Lee's has delicious food and very friendly workers. You can see that this roast beef had just been cooked in their kitchen. We bought slices of it for dinner. Wonderful flavor! |
This is Daphne who works in the kitchen. She had a deep southern accent. When I mentioned that we were used to colder weather in Michigan, she said "Ooh whee!" |
It was in fact a cold day for walking outside. We repeated our visit to the marsh walk. A few days ago every seat here was taken by a person drinking beer. |
Before our walk, we ate lunch at the River City Café. Good fish sandwich! |

That looks lots of fun, that market! Tasty, too! There's a River City Cafe in Myrtle we often eat at -- good burgers! So the cold is there, too? Well, sub zero here, so I'd stay as long as I can!
Nice market, but farmers' market here is just that, farm produce. We almost retired in SC, love it there and it beats the cold sleet and winter stuff here today! Good looking fish sandwich!
Those colorful chairs look so attractive.
And your fish sandwich is making me hungry. :) It looks good.
Yes i think the term farmers market is a bit nebulous these days. Still fun tho. Hot and sweaty weather here so I’m sitting in the air con. Looking forward to some ice cold watermelon 🍉. Cheers sherry
I always find these kind of markets fun to visit. Many of my friends have retired to SC..
Not all farmer's markets are "producers' markets." Still fun to shop.
