That painted bunting, wow! And the stilt. Just beautiful. You have had quite a trip!
I hope you had some lovely surprises, Mae. We are eagerly looking forward to seeing you on Monday.
Hello Mae,
A wonderful critter post, I love all the birds.
The Painted Bunting is a favorite, they are beautiful.
The Caracara, the Swallows and the Stilt are great birds and photos. Neat shot of the dragonflies. I am sure they were plenty of cows in Texas, I like the cow photo too.
Thank you for sharing your link and critter post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank so much for leaving me a comment.
I would love to see that Ibis...never seen one like that. And the other birds are great too. Enjoy your visit!
So many cool pictures of birds, thanks for sharing!
Love these photos! I'm a huge critter fan so I love this post! I also love the water more than any one should. I've always wanted to live on a houseboat and almost bought one but my kids said that they didn't want to leave their friends and school, so we didn't get it. We had a pontoon boat and a speed boat that we always went out on so I settled for that.
Beautiful photos. You had some great finds!
You are a good photographer to capture these birds & the dragonflies so still. The painted bunting is particularly fetching to see.
You were the first one to come to mind when I saw the mention of 'Mae' on my blog travels this morning ;) Beautiful bunting picture! Enjoy your travels :)
Great photos, especially the Painted Bunting which is a new bird to me!
Have a great week!
Gorgeous photos but I'm terrified of dragonflies. lol
