Snow!
Snowblind by Ragnar Jonasson seems to me more of a police procedural than a thriller. A young policeman, on his first assignment, must figure out the reason why a murder has occurred, and must discover many interrelationships among its people. It’s a pretty good read — lots of local color and winter darkness. The large number of Icelandic mystery writers is amazing.

I'm not a thriller reader. I like police procedurals and mysteries. So this one might be just for me!
I just finished book 4 in the series this morning. It's pretty good, isn't it? And its definitely more a crime story than thriller. I read the author loves Agatha Christie and that he translated some of them into Icelandic, and book 4 has a kind of Christie feel. hugs-Erika
Ohhh this sounds like something I could get into.
I´m freezing just seeing this! It must be beautiful, though, if you like the cold. When I was into flat-sharing (late 1990´s) roommates went there and did not stop telling how beautiful it was. I made myself a hot cuppa! Brrrr......
Sounds good to me, I will put it on my reading list.
Take care, have a wonderful day!
I'm a big fan of police procedurals. I also love mysteries. This sounds like something I would enjoy.
This is one I would enjoy for sure!
