Food Reading, Shopping, and More

I’ve redone my refrigerator magnets: now it’s almost all birds. Plus the air plant that lives on the fridge.

These are just the owl magnets.

Downtown Ann Arbor

Downtown: a mural on the upper story of a building. Maybe a desert scene?

At Downtown Home and Garden

Ornaments that look like drinks.

Modeling the L.L.Bean clothes sold in the store. I wonder what his story is!

Painted on the shop window.

I always enjoy visiting Downtown Home and Garden, a store with many different sorts of merchandise and two cats. Besides household goods and L.L.Bean clothing, they have many dog and cat toys and pet supplies, garden tools and outdoor equipment, kitchen tools, and a large Christmas area.

Looking forward to Thanksgiving

Hello,
You have a nice collection of magnets, the owl magnets are my favorites. The mural is pretty, it does look like a desert scene.
Sweet kitties and the bear modeling clothes is cute too.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

Cats live in a store? Cool. And wow, those "glasses" I´d buy.
The recipe-book sounds interesting.

I used to collect owls, they were all around my house. Then I switched to lighthouses. Don't know what it will be next

I have magnets on my fridge from the places I've visited

I love murals. There's a town near where I live that's "the mural capital of Florida". My daughter and I are going there for 4 days on Monday

Cute cats!

I don't drink but I like those drink ornanments

Love the bear and the painted window. great job!

I like those owl magnets. Do you just switch them around on occasion or do you get new ones to replace the old ones? I'm also looking forward to Thanksgiving. And I enjoy Jane Austen but I haven't heard of these. Are they short stories? hugs-Erika

Answering Erika’s questions:
1) When I see magnets that I like, I buy them. Or at least a few of them, especially when on vacation. For a long time, I just take some down and put up some new ones, but this time, I went through the box of old ones and just found birds.
2) These are three Jane Austen short works that were not published in her lifetime. In particular, Sanditon was in progress at the time she died. Lady Susan was written when she was very young, and never published.
Thanks for asking! Have a great Thanksgiving.

Cats in stores are the best. I love seeing cats out "in the wild."
I don't drink but the drink ornaments are so cute and look realistic.

Voilà un post plein de variétés qui fait plaisir à lire. On ne parvient pas à imaginer ici l'importance de thanksgiving (pauvres indiens ils n'ont guère été récompensé de leur générosité), mais je vous le souhaite bon et joyeux

I love your magnets but I'm one of those people who can't stand to have ANYTHING on their fridge. Stresses me out.

Love the kitties!!!!!

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

We don’t have a store selling LL Bean here. The nearest one is about 90 minutes away.

That sounds like a nice shop to visit, especially since they have cats too :) Years ago I started a fridge magnet trend at work, whenever one of us (receptionists) goes overseas we bring a magnet for the colleagues. So now I have loads of them! Nice window mural too. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Mae.

My fridge is covered with these holographic magnets the kids got in snack boxes when they were small. I can’t quite bring myself to remove them even though it’s been a decade or so since the last one was added and they are now all technically adults.
Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving week

I took a screenshot of your refrigerator bird magnets and shared them with a couple of my naturalist friends. Very nice.

I wonder what you think of Sanditon. I know the Classics Club is going to do a Jane Austen yearlong readalong next year, and I hope to read this one then.

The Downtown Home and Garden store looks like a store I would enjoy visiting. But I'd rather have the drinks instead of the ornaments!
Happy Thanksgiving, Mae.

Oh your fridge magnets are lovely, especially the owls. I buy a fridge magnet wherever I travel and they are all on my fridge.
I love the sunset mural.Desert landscape or seascape, it doesn't matter. The colors are beautiful.
The Downtown store's drink ornaments are real fun (but not to drink).
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Thank you for joining me for T Tuesday this week. Some of you are aware I damaged my left arm and finally made a sling for it. Last Saturday I removed the sling because my arm felt better. Monday afternoon, I was headed to the basement when my sleeve caught the end of the banister and I took a tumble down all 14 steps. Yes, I once again landed on my left shoulder. It's a good thing I didn't throw the sling away, because it is quite handy. However, I am still in pain, but refuse to go to the ER because they will tell me to rest, as I've been doing and would probably issue a prescription I couldn't afford. Thank you for understanding why I made this a universal copy and paste entry and really, really appreciate you for sharing your T post this week.

Love those magnets and envy your white fridge.
