To Indiana and Back Again

We made a quick visit to my sister Elaine and brother-in-law Larry in West Lafaytte, Indiana this week.

Waiting for a pizza — interesting murals on the walls of the pizza place.

At Elaine’s, we always use this beautiful quilt.

In Our Garden

We’ve had a very extended growing season this fall, but the vivid red of the Japanese maple is a sign that it’s about to lose its leaves, and the beautiful geraniums look as if they won’t last much longer even without deep frosts.

Great mural! My geraniums are still going great guns, though I've been bringing them in the garage at night. Eventually they'll go downstairs to winter over. They did OK last year; we'll see how this year goes.

Looks like beautiful fun-yum and your garden-colors a bliss in our grey.

We've had a couple of hard frosts and yet my geraniums are still a bit green. Not as pretty as yours. Hope you had a nice visit with your sister. hugs-Erika

The apple pies look scrumptious! Looks like leaf raking times there.

Indeed, an interesting mural. Plus: a mural and a pizza and a family meeting... what more do you want

Yummi apple pies :) Sorry about the linky, I had prepared a couple of Mural posts but somehow put the wrong posting date on this one and pressed publish. I entered your link manually. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Mae.
