The holiday lights in your neighborhood are so pretty Mae. I'm not into light overload, but I bet there is a lot to look at. Happy Hanukkah Mae. I'm not sure if the different spellings of that word evoke different meanings. If you know that would be an interesting post. hugs-Erika
Gorgeous photos!! Merry Christmas!
There are several methods of transliterating Hebrew characters into English spelling, which accounts for the multiple spellings of Chanukah. However, there isn't really any meaning for different ways of spelling it.
Happy holidays! Those photos are all wonderful; for me there is something special about dark nights and twinkle lights in all colors, shapes, and sizes. Have a wonderful holiday!
Hope you have a peaceful weekend.
Hello Mae,
Happy Chanukah to you and Len! Your neighborhood looks pretty with all the lights, I like the cute holiday critters. I can see someone really likes to go all out with the decorations and lights, very festive. I wish you all the best in 2023. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
These are wonderful! I am finally better, health-wise, and we
might roam the neighborhood/Christmas Market next week.
For today: Have a Merry, Happy Christmas and I hope you enjoyed Chanukah as well!
I have no idea about the orange star my unknown neighbor puts on each morning and night but I reckon it means just the same - to happy days (and nights).
That is quite the yard for Christmas! Thanks for sharing those pics. Delightful. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas/holiday weekend.
I love your neighborhood. It would be great to walk about there and see the decorations.
Whew! Those people put some effort into their decorations. I do too, but it's all on the inside. Hope you have the merriest of holidays and had a fabulous Chanukah!
