Tom, Evelyn, and Alice left a little while ago. We miss them all already! |
Dinner last night was from the most famous Ann Arbor eatery: Zingerman's Deli. |
We had a great meal to end the visit. |
We feel lucky that we managed to have our family here for this week -- in a bubble -- as the pandemic is surging again, and we wonder when travel will again be possible. We think we will now have to be much more careful as case numbers are rising. I hope all my blog friends had a good Christmas too.

That sandwich looks delicious.
Family time is such a treat. I am glad you enjoyed yours so much. I understand the "missing them already"
I'm glad you were able to spend time with family. Looks like you are all happy. Great deli and I would love a sandwich from there.
It's tough when people leave, but good you could spend some time with them. And those sandwiches do look good.
Hope it's not too long until you see them again xx
Bitter-sweet post.
Let´s hope for travel, for freedom, for getting that Covid under control better.
To family and friends!
Lovely post
How wonderful to have the lovely visitors of family in these uncertain times. These moments feel stolen right now and so so precious. If nothing else, Covid has brought us to a keen sense of the blessings of family time.
Hugs and happy and safe new year.

I'm so glad you were able to be together. I sure hope Miriam has safe passage and the rest of the family too, when they have to leave. It's extra hard saying goodbye these days.
I'm getting ready to take down the decorations today.... It's a sad and melancholy day here.
