Walking in my neighborhood

Walking down Packard Road, a major street near my house, I enjoy
looking at a wide variety of colorful buildings. I don't walk there often
because there's much more traffic than on residential streets.

A mural signed Eva Rosenfeld.
You can see we still have a remnant of dirty snow.

The ice machines at Stadium Market are painted with icy designs.

Gas pumps -- which I usually don't notice -- have colorful logos.

I walk this way often, and I may have posted photographs of these buildings before. But on a grey day, when I don't feel safe going inside, it's fun to take another look at them. These are my photos, © 2021 mae sander.

It's fun seeing these colorful spots of Ann Arbor. I need to get out more! Someday I'll be there again.

The bright colors add a lot to that area! I much prefer the colors and variety of design to the flat tan brick faces so many businesses seem to have. Sometimes I think city codes on such things do more harm than good.

Living rural, it is always fascinating to me how people can live in a city and walk past such interesting places from their homes.

J'ai l'impression que nous faisons le même genre de balade dominicale, dans nos voisinages respectifs. J'aime beaucoup le dessin d'Eva rosenfeld

I enjoy seeing the color on your walk. We have a couple of murals in our little town. One was just painted this year. I need to post about it, I think.

I love the colors and the way you always keep it positive. We sure do need that these days.

Glad to see your nice photos. The Japanese really make an art of manhole covers! May I share yours? Are you on Instagram? Stay healthy and happy dear

How apt to have a mechanic in Packard Road. Can you just collect ice free of charge?

Can you collect ice free of charge? Ice vending machines are usually located outdoors like the one in the photo, but you still have to pay for it. Most of them are vending machines where you insert money to get the ice. I have not purchased from this location.
