In our neighborhood: many signs thanking healthcare workers. |
This sign is specific: thanking workers at the University of Michigan Hospital, where several of the neighbors work. |
Chalk on the sidewalk is another type of sign: "I turned myself into the virus Marty: I'm COVID-RICK" |
Even small children seem to be practicing social distancing. On my walk today, I saw very few people. |

They are the real HEROES!
It's great to see all these signs! They are true heroes.
That makes me think I need to make a thank you sign for the Fire Captain paramedic who lives across the street.
We need to thank grocery store clerks, too.
I love the rainbow and side walk chalk messages. These health care workers are the true heroes of today.
Yes, same here, sadly my SD card decided to die straight after I took pics like these - great you have them to share!
These are great signs. I love the photo of your neighborhood, too.
Did you know that if you sing "Hail to the Victors Valiant" in "regular fight song time" it is 20 seconds? I saw a fun video demonstrating it with handwashing and now this MSU grad probably hums or sings the U of M fight song 20 times a day!
Yes, a big thanks to them all!
I'm so glad to see that some people are taking this virus seriously!
A few days ago, my wife and I saw a woman pushing her small child in a stroller, and neither one of them were wearing a mask. To make matters worse, we heard that small child coughing. I couldn't help but wonder if that child had that virus, which truly saddened my heart.
Love to see all those signs! Such a weird time we're in. :-(
It's wonderful to see so much appreciation for those health care workers. They are really heros.
