I'm about to try some of the 101 recipes that were published in this week's
New York Times food section. So I needed fresh basil, mint, and parsley from the farmer. This year I'm traveling too much to grow my own -- but I love looking at the presentation by one rain-soaked occupant of an overflow space at the market. Also, I love to see the huge cabbages that are starting to come in. Today was also the first local corn, peaches, and apricots I've seen so far.
