About the Artist:
"Tatyana Fazlalizadeh is a Brooklyn-based street artist and painter. She is from Oklahoma City, born to a Black mother and Iranian father. Her work is rooted in community engagement and the public sphere. She makes site specific work that considers how people, particularly women, queer folks, and Black and brown people, experience race and gender within their surrounding environments—from the sidewalk, to retail stores, to the church, to the workplace. Fazlalizadeh is the creator of Stop Telling Women to Smile, an international street art series that tackles gender-based street harassment" (source)

I'm glad Tatyana Fazlalizadeh's message is getting out there. That's one of the benefits of outdoor art, I think...outdoor art is often more visible than art kept in museums.
I hope you will take another photo of your house after fall begins there.
The leaves haven't yet started to change or fall from my trees yet. That's not so unusual this time of year though. I love the murals around the campus. I hope the messages hit home for everyone who see them.

Your house is wonderful looking Mae. It has a great fairy tale feel, although I is probably more tudor style. And I really like how there is art on the buildings. Tatyana Fazlaizadeh is an amazing artist and speaks truths people seem to need reminding of in this anti-abortion climate right now. And I also want to mention how in your comment on my blog, you mentioned how all National Parks seem to offer something different and wonderful, and I agree, that is so true. It is easy to get carried away with one and forget all the beauty and interest of others. Thankfully we have them all. Happy rest of your weekend. hugs-Erika

I was able to get some pics of street art this week thanks to your inspiration. And What work you have this week. Love the aerial shot. I live on the 10th floor of my building so I get tons of cool shots like that as well.
