In a shop window near the campus: a Lego Michigan Stadium -- "The Big House." The real stadium has been idle so far this fall, but maybe not for much longer. |
Strangely painted pedestrian control flags. The street pavement is painted as well, but the number of people passing by is far less than usual. |
Also near campus: a decorated utility box. |
A mushroom in the woods. |
Fall irises in my neighbor's garden, along with still-colorful flowers and also autumn leaves.. |

I have to admit, you live in a very colorful town. I'm always amazed at what people can do with those Legos. And those colorful signs, streets, and utility box. Irises bloom in spring here, so I was surprised to see these. Whoever owns that house has an incredible eye for landscaping.
The Fall in your neighbourhood is so beautiful!
Nice photo assortment.
I love this idea of just random scenes of your life. Will try to remember it!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and for the advice on Topper! Can't wait to start reading it.
Have a wonderful week!
Hi Mae, it's Tina here in Florida (formally of Squirrel Head Manor blog). I love the sight of the turkeys in the yard and the beautiful flowers in your neighbors yard.
I hope you and your family are well!
I've seen the street paintings in Auckland, apparently they're done there so that people will know to drive slowly. I wonder how effective it is.
Love the photos!
Did you pick the mushroom? I would love to know enough to forage for them. Hope sports return soon to where you live, but in a safe way.
I like the 3-effect on the box. Oh, and a real turkey!
I quite like that utility box. A lot of work went into that Lego stadium :)
Your neighbour has a beautiful garden.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Mae.
I have never heard of a fall blooming iris but I would love to find one. They are such beautiful flowers.
I love all of your pics.
Football should be starting there soon!
I like the interesting street art. We never see turkeys here except sometimes out in the woods!
