What a gorgeous table -- everything looks beautiful. I swear, I would ALMOST rather have the food look beautiful than taste good -- but when it's both -- WOW!

Indeed, everything looks so appetizing. That first plate is so pretty.

I must note, the broth in the Matzoh Ball Soup has so much more depth than the soup I make.

Louise -- The broth was very dark and delicious. My friend Abby, our hostess, said it was made from chicken bones & skin but there had been other ingredients in the chicken. She mentioned garlic and tomato sauce. But there probably is no actual recipe. She's a creative cook.

Ah ha, that makes sense because I am such a stickler when it comes to making stock. It takes up the whole day and the entire kitchen. I kid you not. She must be one creative cook!!!
