A year ago today in Mexico, we visited the whales that like to approach small boats and look at the people. People — like us — also love seeing the whales!
Today near our house. Next week these snowdrops and aconite may be buried.
That must have been great to be so close to whales, and lucky you to not have snow on the ground and snowdrops blooming.We're still very white. hugs-Erika

To see a whale is an experience like no other. I have been fortunate to have seen six species, all incredible. It is very sad that we are polluting their habitat with plastic and interfering with their ability to communicate by oil exploration, fracking and other intrusive activities.

I've got my fingers crossed for the return of spring. We planted a lemon tree and an orange tree today.
I saw some Winter Aconite buds today too. I hope they survive the cold that is sure to come.
