A Few Beautiful Places

Riding on a Zodiac from our last excursion, which was kayaking and just lovely.
The trip had many really nice parts, as well as the long bus rides that made me complain!

Sunrise on the last morning, just before we left for the bus ride to the airport.
Of  course we are now at home.

I have loved seeing all your gorgeous photos from your trip. I showed them to TheHUb and we have agreed after his retirement we are going to have to do this. Our son and his family live in Portland so we could kill two birds with one stone!

The lightening in your photos is amazing. It does look beautiful. Thanks for mentioning about St. Gauden in the David McCullough book. I actually read that book several years ago and had forgotten about that. Today I went back through that part. Much appreciated.
