Winter at the Botanical Gardens

Over the years I’ve posted many photos of the Botanical Gardens in all seasons.

Not many birds are here at this time of year: a few mallard ducks. a few goldfinches, a few geese…

In the Greenhouses

In the cactus house.

Though I was here quite recently, I enjoyed today’s vist — with Christmas decorations.

It doesn't matter how many times I go to the county park next door to where I grew up---I always find new things to see and hear. This botanical garden is beautiful, I think, even the plants in the cactus house. It's nice that some birds stay despite the colder weather.

If we had a botanical garden here in my city, I'd go there quite often. Your photos are lovely, I especially like the cactus house.

Beautiful duck. The greenhouse looks inviting. That reminds me I should go over to our local garden center and wander through their small greenhouse.
