I love the desert and have hiked around Palm Springs area and Borrego Springs too. Your photos do it justice. Much beauty.

It's amazing how anything can grow in what must be dry gritty soil, but it does, and the young palms and pretty flowers are wonderful to see, and also the tall palms are pretty unusual. I also like your image of the landscape.

I would love to visit that area too. The rock formations are all so neat and it's fun to see so many flowers blooming when you get out on the trails and look around. You took some amazing photos!
The small wild flowers you captured in the photos were particularly delightful.
