That Oak Titmouse image is superb!! Although when there is a Hummingbird on offer too, I always find it hard not to make that my favourite.

Hello Mae,

Beautiful collection of birds. The Roadrunner is favorite, I would like to see the Oak Titmouse and the Cactus Wren. The Costa's Hummingbird is a cutie. Love the flowers! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend!

I would love to hike in that area! What amazing birds you saw. The Roadrunner is very neat and it's funny to see birds in the cactus!

We are going to be in Palm Springs in a couple of weeks and will be going to the park. I can't wait to see everything there.

Gorgeous! So glad you finally had a beautiful day to take more of your beautiful photographs. That little hummingbird has the peacock of a peacock, and I love the starkness of the raven against the Joshua tree -- so striking!

I'm been to Joshua Tree a couple of times, but it's been years. Thanks for reminding me how beautiful it is.

Who knew roadrunners perched in trees? They are actually common in the North Texas pine forests where my older son lives, but I've never seen them there in the trees.

And how does the Cactus Wren do that? Birds are magical creatures.

My daughter had a chance to visit Joshua Tree last year and loved it. I hope we can get there one day, too. Wonderful photos!

Cactus wren...knows he's better than the rest of us because he can hop around on a dang cholla without getting stabbed!

Who knew roadrunners ever went up into a tree?????

I love that darling titmouse!

My German friends are hoping our roadtrip works out so that they can see Joshua Tree, even for a quick minute.

I love birds and your pictures are fantastic! We don't have Oak Titmice where I live, but we do have Tufted Titmice. They have been active in my backyard even with all the snow and cold. Hope your weekend is a good one!

We went to Joshua Tree NP last year and I don't remember seeing a single bird. But the trees and rocks. Wow. What a place.
