Chinese collection at the University of Michigan Museum of Art.

This the first time in two years that we have visited
our local museum, which was closed for over a year, though it's now been open for 6 months. Guests must wear masks, though there’s a maskless coffee shop -- which we did not visit. Because of the tea set, I plan to share this post with the Tuesday tea party at
Elizabeth’s blog.

I miss the local art museums. They're open, but I still haven't gone back. Maybe when it warms up some I'll feel more like getting out. Yours looks like an interesting exhibit.

It's nice to see you were able to visit the museum. That tea set was beautiful. It's amazing how the designs on the set and tray are relatively universal. Thank you so much for another great and unique take on T this week, dear Mae.
I forgot to mention. Those are NOT tea leaves, but skeleton leaves I featured with the tea bags. It was a play on words.

There is something uniquely appealing about art from the far east, and even with the ease of travel today (absent COVID) it still adds an air of mystery and inscrutability to the western eye. I would love to own a couple of good pieces.
