Creatures for Halloween

In My Neighborhood: Halloween Decorations Are Appearing

This is only the beginning! Each day brings more Halloween decorations!

More election signs are also appearing along with the Halloween decorations.

Halloween in my Kitchen So Far this Year

My only new Halloween decoration so far: bats on table napkins.

Halloween dish towel from past years.

Some people have the best decorations, and they are fun to see. I want to know how people store those giant decorations though. Have a great start to your weekend Mae. hugs-Erika

I wonder if people are decorating as much or more for Halloween as they do, in general, for fall!

@Deb: Around here the decorations are very clearly for Halloween — witches, skeletons, ghosts, spiders, carved pumpkins, etc. Some of the houses have pumpkins and bales of hay as well as the Halloween items, but I can’t think of any without a strong Halloween theme.

I love that Witches Flying School sign in particular but I enjoyed all the decorations.

Halloween seems to be slowly dying here. Or at least the external manifestations of it. Fewer and fewer houses are decorated and in our neighbourhood there are hardly any young children so there is little trick-or-treating.

I am seeing Halloween decorations pop up around our neighborhood too. I love this time of year. :-)

Great photo gallery of Halloween decorations. A neighbor walked by with her grandson today and she said they were on a walk looking for 'spookies'. They would have enjoyed all of yours.

I've been out looking at the decorations popping up in our neighborhood too. They seem to be getting bigger and more commercial looking every year! You have spotted some interesting looking ones.
