We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Phyllis and Ed's home last night, along with their friends Leslie and Peter. We totally enjoyed ourselves.The evening had an unexpected ending: when we arrived back home, we couldn't open the garage. Then we noticed that everything was dark. All around there were trucks. Our condo was in the middle of a huge electrical project and we had no power. Quite a hunt for flashlights was our next big adventure! And this morning I made "mud" coffee by boiling water with coffee grounds -- after finding some matches to light the stove. Power was restored on schedule just before 8 AM.
