Our World

We watched the landing. It’s hard to believe this adventure is real, but it is.

I greatly admire their bravery, but I would not squash into a tiny cabin with 3 other people. Hopefully they all landed in good health.

Ingo was dragged out of bed for the first landing and thought it was a cartoon...

I'm glad they got home safely.

It is hard to believe. I also find it "weird" how long ago the first moon shots were, and how many people weren't around them to see it all happen.

It was an incredible mission, and amazing to see the images.

When I was growing up, many of our neighbors and our friends' parents worked at NASA. When I taught school, most of the parents worked at NASA. A few were actual astronauts. I've always loved space.

I watched so much of this mission thanks to NASA’s youtube channel. It reminded me so much of my childhood and the Apollo missions.

It seems so strange that it's taken so long for us to go back to the moon, but I'm glad we've made such a strong move back out into space.
