As we drove around Houston with our friends Eleanor and Roger last Sunday, I took photos of street art whenever I could. I’m sharing this post with Sami’s Monday Murals. Now I’m just about finished with my Texas photos — just a few more street art photos for next week.

Wonderful photos of the murals, and the alligator spooked me! LOL! Thank you so much for sharing, and warm greetings from Montreal, Canada.
All beautiful but that utility box was really art!
Aloha
I love all these murals but seriously, you took that alligator photo??? THat is terrifying! Great shot tho. #MuralMonday
The alligator wasn’t very close by. I have a telephoto lens on the camera for birds, and it also works for alligators.
Great photos! I love seeing street art when I’m travelling.
Nice street art, and boy that looks like one BIG gator. Happy new week Mae. hugs-Erika
You always find the best street art in the places you travel, Mae. I love that mural of the women carrying the houses. I hope you have a great week!
Scary first pic! And great art!
I like the mural, but I really love those utilityboxes. When they are painted, they almost always make the street a lot more beautiful
You found some wonderful street art Mae. I also like the sculpture of the woman with the pineapple above the door :) Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Mae.
The creative spirit is alive and well, it seems.
Houston looks to be a very artistically exciting city. There are some wonderful ones here.
I am especially fond of the first one, but they are all great and appear to represent areas in and around Houston. Scary alligator.
Love all the colorful street art.
The murals are all beautiful. Take care, have a great day!
Wow there is some really nice street art there.
I'm glad you got to see the gator. And I'm happy you got to see some Houston street art!
I love street art! And eek - that alligator!
cheers
