| America Eats by William Woys Weaver was published in 1989. It’s full of good information about historic foodways, and also indicates a lot of possibilities for continuing research. Much has been done in the ensuing decades! |

ReplyDeleteI bet Len brought the bread! It looks fabulous -- Guernsey has the best ice cream EVER. We go every year around Thanksgiving when we hit the greens market. But I really miss their broasted chicken and never bonded with the new decor, though more used to it now. NOT used to NO BROASTED CHICKEN!!!

ReplyDeleteYour ordinary days looks pretty good! The bird photos are beautiful. I've only seen Sandhill Cranes once, in Yellowstone NP. Magnificent birds.
