Very sad that I as German had to look up "Purim". Despite all the many, many Stolpersteine we have here. Just what did we learn at school... But I will never ever understand the "hate" anyways. I just find no explanation that makes sense. Other religious groups, who want to force their way onto others, that I could understand. We have a lot of those here. Anyway. Happy holiday... to never forget. To teach.
Ummmm, here's another embarrassed person who did not know what Purim was. How did I live to be so old and not know? Please, more detail about what she is making?
YUM..what flavors did you make? I am a horrible Hamatashan maker, I always fill them to much. My 9 year old goes to a Jewish Day School and over the years have mastered the art of folding them. That is his job every year !
Good for you making hamantaschen. I have not made them in years. I used to make them with my mom by the hundreds to give out to friends and neighbors. Then I made them with my kids. A wonderful tradition. Happy belated Purim.

Happy Belated Purim (or does it continue -- I regret I don't know.) Those pastries look marvelous!
