ReplyDelete@Deb: Around here the decorations are very clearly for Halloween — witches, skeletons, ghosts, spiders, carved pumpkins, etc. Some of the houses have pumpkins and bales of hay as well as the Halloween items, but I can’t think of any without a strong Halloween theme.

ReplyDeleteHalloween seems to be slowly dying here. Or at least the external manifestations of it. Fewer and fewer houses are decorated and in our neighbourhood there are hardly any young children so there is little trick-or-treating.
