Watched the last episode of Moonflower Murders. |
Here are a few images from my recent quiet life… tuna salad for lunch; a Halloween Tree in a shop; autumn colors; a glass of wine…. I’m sharing with Elizabeth and her weekly blog event. All photos © 2024 mae sander for maefood.blogspot.com.
That is a very interesting teapot, I don't think I've seen one like that before. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteI love that teapot. It's really cute. And your life may be quiet but it still looks interesting. I won't ask how many books you've read-grin. I hope we hear about them too. Have a great T day. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteFun tea pot! Cute. And your food... yum!
ReplyDeleteI hear you scream, but... Ingo got (canned) mushrooms and now we need red wine for... making goulash. I have white wine (10 months old and open since?) and likely... thank you for the idea.... will use that for making lunch tomorrow.
Cool tree.
I LOVE that gnome teapot, never seen one like that! Your winw looks good, too! Have a great week, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteRed wine and tuna salad are not a recommended pairing - but I'm willing to give it a go!
ReplyDeleteHi David — The pairing was tuna salad with diet coke or sparkling water. The red wine was for a different meal. We aren’t barbarians!
DeleteI LOVE Evelyn's gnome teapot. Really unique.
ReplyDeleteYour salad looks refreshing and I love that you used those tiny oranges with it.
Nice wine, I'm sure. I know nothing about wine, except that it all tastes like vinegar to me.
Beautiful tree. Love how you captured it in the water, too. Speaking of trees, that Halloween tree was a hoot.
Did you enjoy Moonflower Murders? Did you get who was the killer before the reveal? I did, but I missed a couple of the lions.
Thanks for sharing all your meals and drinks with us for T this Tuesday,. dear Mae.
I'm looking forward to a quiet day today. My son shared some photos of fall color on his walk with his dog yesterday in Chicago...maples, I think. I wonder if that's also a maple you feature. In any case, it's stunning.
ReplyDeleteoh my word that tea pot!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your Halloween and neighborhood. It's so cool. And Moonflower. Saw Lesley Manville in Oedipus in London. Riveting. Now I have to catch up on the Moonflower episodes I missed. I might start it over.
