Today and a Year Ago

A year ago today in Mexico, we visited the whales that like to approach small boats and look at the people.
People — like us — also love seeing the whales!

Today near our house. Next week these snowdrops and aconite may be buried.

  6. I saw some Winter Aconite buds today too. I hope they survive the cold that is sure to come.

  7. Hello Mae :=)
    This is a fantastic shot of the whale and a magical moment to see a whale so close to you, it's incredible that they don't rock the boat or make a big splash as their head appears out of the water.The Snowdrops are so pretty.
    All the best

  12. To see a whale is an experience like no other. I have been fortunate to have seen six species, all incredible. It is very sad that we are polluting their habitat with plastic and interfering with their ability to communicate by oil exploration, fracking and other intrusive activities.
