Blue jays are nasty, hateful, loud, and very protective. My squirrels eat my sunflower seeds I plant. Can you tell I have a love of nature? Seriously, I love the fact there are no blue jays where I live, but there were HUGE flocks of them in MO where I used to live. And I have learned to not fight the squirrels. I simply don't plant sunflower seeds anymore!
Love the shots of the Blue Jay on the nest, I hope you get to see the baby jays soon. The Downy Woodpecker and the Sparrow are great visitors to your feeders. Beautiful blossoms and trees. The squirrel in the sunshine is an awesome capture. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Hello Mae ;=) Lovely nature photos The Blue Jay is a fabulous colourful bird and you are so lucky that it is building a nest in your garden. Their sweet offspring's will be a treat to see. Gorgeous Spring flowers, and Squirrel photos. The one caught in the sunlight is a really cut image. I laughed at your Crane comment, imagining you both eyeballing each other.:=) All the best.
