I remember they did this last year, too. Sadly, it doesn't seem to have much impact in the rest of the country. At first I I thought there was now finally some hope for gun laws. But now I'm really sick and tired of being sick and tired over all this gun violence because one political party refuses to help pass any kind of gun laws.
I did -- the only thing I had was a T-shirt blouse with some orange stripes and so I'm sure nobody noticed. (I only went to the grocery store.) Probably needless to say since we are still in Florida, there wasn't any local publicity anyway. I learned about it through email from Bill Penzey. (the only advertising email I read religiously).

Hello Mae,
ReplyDeleteI do not have any orange clothes to wear. I wish the gun violence would stop.
Take care, enjoy your weekend.
I hope gun violence will be stopped even though I have no orange clothes to wear. Have a great weekend, Valerie
ReplyDeleteDidn't know about the orange. In fact, I'm wearing a coral red t-shirt today.
ReplyDeleteI had not seen this until just now, so no, no orange today, just black.
ReplyDeleteI would have, had I known.
