As we were walking out of the woods an angry Canada Goose swooped down near us. We tried to discourage it, but eventually it actually swooped right into me! It’s feathers were a bit wet. A strange sensation. Unfortunately no photos. We think it was making a nest very near the path in the Botanical Garden.

That must have been an awful experience.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteWow, that must have been a strange feeling to have the goose fly right into you. I have had Terns flying at me on the beach. I was not near a nest, maybe getting close to one. Love the beautiful flowers. Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend.
Geese are aggressive during nesting season, aren't they! Yikes! So pretty, those yellow flowers :) And the redbuds :) Ours have quit blooming here, but I look forward to them every year.
ReplyDeleteWow! I wonder if she had babies close by. I love the photos. Have a great day today.
ReplyDeleteThose geese are asty and they are aggressive, even when not building nests. You were lucky you didn't get injured.
ReplyDeleteit's always a bit startling when a bird goes for you. we have plovers and magpies that attack. the plovers are just silly but the magpies draw blood!
ReplyDeleteYour first 3 photos look like water color paintings- so beautiful.. What a strange and perhaps scary experience with that angry goose.
