Hello, You have wonderful wildlife sightings in your garden. The bunnies, chipmunks and the Cardinal on the nest are great captures. Have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend.
I wonder why it is that we turn away from the birds that frequent our feeders. When I was at Quintana Beach during the huge bird migration this spring, I heard a report that a Northern Parula was posing in the coralbean plants. My first thought was, I've already seen a Northern Parula. I'm so glad that I decided to wander down there anyway. I was completely charmed by this bird.
Oh, I still get excited about cardinals at the feeders! I just fed them this morning and the squirrels are already trying to steal everything. We also have a couple of towhees hanging about this time of year. Love the chipmunks!
How can something so cute as a chipmunk be so annoying. We have so many in our yard that the race is one each year for tomatoes. I had no idea they were such good climbers. For the record, the chipmunks are way ahead of us when it comes to our home grown tomato consumption.
Hello Mae, Wonderful critter and photos. I love the cute chipmunk and the bunnies are adorable. Nice capture of the Cardinal, she looks alert. Great sightings. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
WE do not get chipmunks around where I live in Pennsylvania , but they are so cute. My son has them in New York. We just put our bird feeder out today ( just got back from Florida) and are hoping we don't have the squirrel issues that we had last summer.

It must be a beautiful garden for it to be such a refuge or stopover for so many animals.

ReplyDeleteThe bunnies are leaving my hostas alone but the other evening I saw a great big doe take a huge chunk of hosta leaf off the plant and chomp it down!
ReplyDeleteI think all the wildlife in your garden is amazing.

ReplyDeleteNice pics. We have those same uninteresting birds at our feeder! Only sparrows!
