Two dinosaurs live in a natural meadow in a garden near me. Seems like a natural place for them to hang out. |
This creature made of screen wire and driftwood lives in a front yard on a busy street. |
I wonder what animal this is. |
Our neighborhood is full of squirrels, which I usually think aren’t worth photographing. |
A few days of rain has brought out mushrooms everywhere. |
At first I thought these puff balls were large white stones. |

Do you forage for mushrooms?
ReplyDeleteI love those dinosaurs in the meadow, but that creature of screen wire and driftwood looks (to me) like someone threw their trash in the neighbor's garden.
ReplyDeleteCute creatures, even the squirrel. Those mushrooms are really different from ones I've seen, especially the last one.
Hello,:=) Your neighbours have some strange looking creatures in their gardens, some look quite scary.:=) I prefer natural wild life images, like the cute squirrel, of which I take boundless photos. Yes, it's the time for Toadstools, great images of all the ones you saw. I also see many in my garden that seem to sprout up over night, and I see the squirrels eating them. Have a happy Weekend!:=)
ReplyDeleteLove the dinos - and the squirrel, "mine" say hi :-)
ReplyDeleteIs that a rat on the pumpkin?
Hello Mae,
ReplyDeleteI like seeing the variety of fungi and mushrooms. The dinosaurs are cool critters. Is it a cat skeleton on the pumpkin? Our neighborhood is overrun with squirrels too. Great collection of photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Dinosaurs...well that's a critter we don't see on very often! heehee! How cool is that!
ReplyDeleteWe've also had a furious eruption of mushrooms here. Perhaps this is mushroom season. I really don't know much about them. A project for the future, maybe.
ReplyDeleteI love taking a tour of your neighborhood surroundings.
ReplyDeleteInteresting thing on top of the pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteWonderful nature shots ~ love the metal dinosaurs ~ Xo
