A Day In Maine

We had a beautiful day in Acadia National Park and nearby.

Maine lobsters are amazingly delicious

There’s a special way to cook them!

  1. Yummy. There is nothing better than fresh catch lobster. Is that a lobster roll I see on the table also? Hope you have a good trip and happy T day Mae. hugs-Erika

  2. I once had lobster. It tasted like... chicken. And hence reminded me of the Louis de Funès-movie The Wing or the Thigh!
Oh, I need to watch that again! It´s so up to date!

  6. Sounds delicious, I’ve never seen lobsters here or crabs, we usually have lobster when we visit our son in San Francisco.
I read that I think in England lobsters now have to be frozen before cooking as it’s a more humane way of killing them!!
    Happy T Dat

  11. I've never had lobster, but i used to go to lunch with a friend who would always get it. It was too much work for me, but I sure like your photos. Nice to have a soft drink along with the lobster, too. Thanks for sharing your lovely lobster and soft drink with us for T this Tuesday, dear Mae.

  13. Acadia National Park is so beautiful. I camped there with my Senior Girl Scout troop when I was in high school. We climbed down onto some rocks and sang while the sun was setting. A very magical experience. Thanks for the memory and Happy T Day

  14. I haven't had lobster since Martha's vineyard four years ago. I love it, too -- one of my favorites! So, I'm salivating a bit. And loving that sunset!

  16. The reflection on the water of the first photograph is amazing, and the very bright green dot on the grass catches my eye, wondering what caused it. Enjoy the lobsters.

  17. Thank you for showing me the lobster place. Is it a picnic area or a restaurant?
I don't think I've ever had lobster but I'd love to try. It looks really tasty in your photos and Erika is always waxing lyrical about her lobster rolls. Are they cooked in ovens? You didn't expand on that photo.
    Happy belated T-Day,
    Hugs,
    Lisca
