Continuing our reunion with friends.
|
Zingerman's mural on the side of the building. Also the location where the line goes around
the block as people wait to order one of the famous sandwiches! I had the brisket today. Delicious.
Our friends enjoyed the experience at this Ann Arbor landmark deli. |
Near Zingerman's: the Ann Arbor Farmers Market:
|
Another group shot before we all spread out throughout the market and the adjacent shops at
Kerrytown. Zingerman's which is a block from the market, was our meeting place after shopping. |
|
One activity at the market today: face painting. |
|
The sunlight on the produce was spectacular! |
After lunch, we toured the Motawi Tile Factory:
|
Ann Arbor's Motawi Tile produces a variety of artisan tile work. |
|
Our friends who love tilework and asked to visit Motawi during our reunion. |

What an amazing post, Mae. Zingerman's sounds like an excellent place to meet. I noticed the coffee the first thing (since it's MY thing).
ReplyDeleteFun look at the Farmer's Market, too. Ours is now closed (as of Oct 1) for the year.
The mural at the tile factory is lovely and fits in well with its surroundings. I enjoyed everything about this post.
oh such lovely arty tiles Mae!
ReplyDeleteA 3-D-mural, very cool.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fun and yummy day!
Such beautiful work on the tiles and the relief-type mural.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week, Mae. :)
Nice ad for the coffee company.
ReplyDeleteA nice day out with friends. I like both the Farmers market mural and the tile factory mural. Thanks for contributing Mae.
ReplyDeleteI hope your friends had as good a day in A2 as I would have with that itinerary. Didn't know about the tile factory!
ReplyDeleteWe've never been to Ann Arbor. It looks like a fun place to vacation. Love the market and the tile shop. Those tiles are amazing! Looks like everyone is having fun. What a great trip!
