Family Dinner


Ready to go with bread: wine, goat cheese spread.






An enjoyable summer meal with family! Guests: Len's sister and her family. The menu included a first course, outdoors, of Len's bread, wine, and cheese. Then: grilled corn and spatchcocked chicken, two of our favorite outdoor dishes. We also had a green salad, a wheatberry salad, and brioche with blueberries for dessert. And just the right amount of wine.

    That's a party I'd like to join. Nothing like good company and good food. I have not tried grilling corn but I bet it's wonderful.
