While others look at birds, I was looking for interesting insects and butterflies. I know nothing about them except that they are very beautiful!

They are so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing, Mae.
ReplyDeleteLove bug pictures! Back when we lived in Florida, we had a huge native garden -- which attracted all sorts of insects, particularly butterflies (which eventually produced caterpillars). Did a lot of macro photography -- and this was back in the film (actually slide film) days, when you had to wait until it was developed to see what you were getting. Fun stuff.
ReplyDeletePretty bugs! We’ve got a ton of flies and butterflies this summer. They’re all interesting to watch, just like the birds! Have a good rest of the week, Mae!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful as long as they're outside.
ReplyDeleteMy husband was pointing out the proliferation of dragonflies here this year. Apparently you have it, too.
ReplyDeleteAlso, we noticed the beautiful orange moths lighting on rocks and on us when we were up near Dallas earlier in the year.
You did well to take the shots of the dragonflies. They are so fast.
Beautiful shots, Mae. So well captured.
