Good Month

The month began with a visit from Evelyn.
We especially liked our visit to the Dexter Cider Mill
which is alongside the Huron River.

Evelyn, Alice, and I had some chips at a restaurant downtown.

We found our Halloween Raven.

A Few of Our Meals

Much good autumn produce all month such as these apples and grapes.

Corned beef from Zingerman’s Deli.

Breakfast waffles

Classic tomato soup garnished with herbs from our garden.

Best Thing In October: Halloween

Our neighborhood has a big variety of decorations.

Pumpkins everywhere. These are at a farm store in Dexter, MI.

In our neighborhood.

I keep hearing about that cider mill but never been. It would make a good day trip. I am so considering netflix to see the GBBS. And how wonderful to have Evelyn visit. Your food and dining look to die for. I'm getting very sad with low carb at this season!

I'd like a glass of cider from the cider mill and a donut, if they have them. That tomato soup looks so delicious I could cry.
