Classic Cinnamon Rolls
| Len made them on Saturday. We enjoyed them for afternoon tea and for breakfast. I find it amusing that the spiral design on the plate looks like the spiral on the roll. |

Shrimp scampi is one of my all-time favorites. You two could definitely open your own restaurant!
ReplyDeleteYou always post such interesting foods. The Everest Sherpa restaurant sounds like an adventure in food. I do like how you prepare shrimp it looks like it is cooked perfectly. Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteAll the food looks yummy, I would love a cinnamon roll.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Happy Tuesday! Enjoy your day!
The cinnamon rolls look delicious. I must make them again soon! You've inspired me.
ReplyDeleteThe shrimp dish looks yummy. You have written about the Everest Sherpa restaurant before. My mouth is watering.
We had take-out food from Everest Sherpa very recently and wanted to try more dishes. We had also eaten there some time in the past. It’s definitely an unusual and enjoyable experience.
ReplyDeleteLove a good classic dish - I wish I could have smelled your kitchen after Len made cinnamon rolls. And then of course I would have loved to eat one too. I love the look of that nepalese restaurant - such cheerful colours. We have a nepalese restaurant in Melbourne (Fitzroy) that is so gorgeous to look at too. I did a double take when you said that the dumplings were called momos - we used to visit food trucks that do momos and they were always more like a chinese filled bun so now I wonder if momos is what Nepalese call all dumplings.
ReplyDeleteI love trying new things, but sometimes classics are just what are needed. This post has so much tasty food Mae. :) hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteMaking cinnamon rolls was a revelation to me. I tried them in my thirties. They are amazingly easy to make, the recipe made lots of rolls, and they were loved my sons and their friends.
