Light and Shadow in Late Winter

Walking Near the Huron River

Poor deer!

Looking down from the bridge over the tracks and the river.

On the bridge.

More Light

The sunlit lobby of the fitness center.

Shadows of our breakfast: milk, water, coffee (for Elizabeth).

Dormant hydrangeas in the snow this week, and the way they looked last June.

  3. That's sad for the deer. We've had a lot of flooding after Cyclone Alfred, (not us personally), and there has been lots of film of cows and horses trying to get out of the floodwaters. Very sad!

  4. Poor deer. It looks like much of your snow is gone. And the blue sky makes it look like such a beautiful day.

  5. I love the shadows photo. I like to take photos like that. Too bad about the deer. Last year when a friend and I walked we passes two dead deer. We think they had been hit on the overpass and someone through them over on our path. Coming back they were already picked up and taken away. Happy t day!

  6. Love the hydrangea photo. Very sad about the deer, too. I hope you were out and about today too. I was -- it felt good to have a "real" walk!

  10. Oh that poor deer! Nature can be cruel at times. I enjoyed the view pf the tracks and river from above. Those hydrangea look so different covered in snow and frost. Great before and after shots.

Your shadow shot was amazing and unique. I always love unusual and that was a great way to share T this Tuesday, dear Mae.

  11. The breakfast shadows are my favorite! And that lobby, what a snazzy fitness center...nothing like that here. It looks quite cold by the river. Will you be getting warmer weather this week too?
